Amjad Ali Khan / Scottish Chamber Orchestra // Samaagam

In the Sanskrit language, the word ‘samaagam’ translates as, ‘a confluence or flowing together.’ For this project, I took cues from the meaning of this title as well as the colors in the photographs I was provided with.

Design: Cover, music packaging with 16 page booklet. Amjad Ali Khan is an Indian sarod virtuoso. This is a recording of a cross-cultural project with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra conducted by David Murphy.
